Scholarships are available to any Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student in an accredited college program, provided the student plans to pursue a career of full time leadership in some field of religious activity, including ministers, missionaries, directors of church music, directors of religious education, or directors of youth leadership.  Consideration will be given to the applicant’s record in high school, qualities of leadership and community activities, moral character, and financial need.  Each applicant must be sponsored by a North Carolina Eastern Star Chapter.  All applications to be considered must be in the hands of the ESTARL Committee by March 1st to be considered for the following school year.

The Grand Chapter Scholarship award is available to the son, daughter, legally adopted son or daughter, grandson or granddaughter of a Master Mason or Member of the Eastern Star.  It is also available to girls or boys from the Masonic Home for the Children at Oxford.  Consideration will be given to the applicant’s record in high school, qualities of leadership in school and community activities, moral character, and financial need.  Each applicant must be sponsored by a North Carolina Eastern Star Chapter or recommended by the Superintendent of the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford.  All applications must be in the hands of the Grand Chapter Scholarship Committee by March 1st to be considered for the following school year.
