Order of The Eastern Star
 

The Tar Heel Star News is the official publication of the Grand Chapter of North Carolina, Order of the Eastern Star. It is published 10 times per year (every month except January and June). It is filled with articles from chapters across our state, with important information on the Grand Chapter’s programs and activities, with the itinerary of the Worthy Grand Matron & the Worthy Grand Patron, and a variety of other items of interest to our membership. The front and back pages feature color photographs and graphic images. Members look forward to each new issue and to reading about the activities of their Sisters and Brothers across North Carolina.

Chapters are encouraged to be 100% subscribers and receive a reduced subscription rate when this goal is accomplished. Many Grand Representatives provide gift subscriptions for their counterparts, and many of those continue to subscribe long after their commissions have expired.

The Tar Heel Star News is an excellent source of information about OES activities and news. Chapters are encouraged to send articles about their events and happenings. It is a wonderful opportunity for them to share the news about all of the good things in which our chapters and members across the state are involved.
